Aidel vice restaurant chicago11/7/2023 The first time it was ethereal, with a soft, runny egg inside that ran out when broken into and created a sauce for the pasta. I have had this dish at 2 other restaurants before. I chose the raviolo filled with an egg yolk. Even though it was big, we polished it off. The salad was large with chunks of good things like avocado, radishes, cucumber and tomatoes in it. The asparagus were breaded, very browned and crisp, over a thick mild-flavored dipping sauce and tasty. We ordered deep fried asparagus and Oma's green mountain salad as starters. waiter Brett arrived and, when asked, shared his thoughts about what to order. We were greeted cordially and seated at once. We had a 1 pm reservation and the place was pretty much full, though patrons were just starting to finish up. Monteverde recently began serving weekday lunch, so the 2 of us decided to try it.
